What Made Our Day Unique
Will and I actually met at school when we were 13! Having been friends for years it wasn't until we were 18 that we became boyfriend and girlfriend! Nine years later on a cliff in Cornwall Will popped the question. And just over a year after that, we tied the knot! I have always known that I wanted to get married at home in the garden. It was so special walking down the aisle in the place I had grown up. We used Inside Outside Marquees for the Marquee and Two Many Cooks as our caterers. Together they helped us create the perfect space for our wedding celebration. From the choice of bar to the table cloth colour, they helped with every decision and we were so happy with how the marquee looked. We wanted our day to be relaxed & fun with good food and good wine!!Kate & Will
Inspiration & Style
Ella Kohn Floral was our florist and we were so happy with the flowers. The inspiration for the flowers was wild meadow, we wanted everything to look like it was part of the garden. My bouquet was so pretty and the amazing flower arch she created became the back drop for some of our favourite photos from the day. Inside the marquee the hanging floral rings really created the wow factor when you walked in. Ella was amazing to work with and I would recommend her to everyone!Kate & Will
Ceremony
Our ceremony took place in the garden. With no wet weather back up plan and with the forecast not looking good, the day before we had bought 150 waterproof ponchos for our guests! As guests arrived in the pouring rain they were given an order of service and a poncho! Whatever the weather we were going to do this!! Miraculously, 5 minutes before I was due to walk down the aisle the rain stopped. Everyone grabbed towels and dried the seats. I walked down the aisle with my dad and bridesmaids to 'Sweet Thing' by Van Morrison.Kate & Will
