Intimate, colourful and full of style, this home elopement takes you from breakfast to vows, then dinner, celebrating every moment together. With a low cut wedding dress, personalised ceremony and candlelit reception all in moody orange, green and white tones.
We planned an incredible shoot to showcase what an elopement in a historic home could look like. From wandering the city together in the morning to a candlelit dinner, snuggles at home before getting ready together. Plus, saying your vows in the privacy of your own space. We chose Madison, Wisconsin as the background for our elopement inspiration.Skyler Rivera
We loved the teals, blushes, and oranges we incorporated throughout. From the colour of the groom's suit to the tablescape and invites. We also had an incredible pocket square boutonniere, beautiful dried elements (some dried pieces from Native & Sage Co's personal gardens!) mixed with fresh florals incorporated into the ceremony space, and a charcuterie board for two.
Wanderess Events choose a low cut wedding dress by Erika's Bridal Couture and a green suit for their intimate elopement at home. Proving wherever you get married you can wear your dream outfit, because why the hell not. The bridal gown features sheer long sleeves, an open cut back and a puddle train and looks incredible fanned out on the woollen rugs.
With eloping looking much different than in previous years, we chose to showcase a different approach to a private ceremony.Skyler Rivera
Whilst we love the plunging neckline on this Erika's Bridal Couture gown, we aware that a low cut wedding dress isn't necessarily for everyone. Read our wedding dress guide explaining all the silhouettes, necklines and trains available.
