Kira & Ewan

Kira and Ewan's big day totally nails the laid back luxe vibe, with pretty pastel parasols, tonnes of foliage and lots of bohemian fashion choices. Kira looks absolutely gorgeous in a Yolan Cris gown with her hair up in a braid adorned with flowers. The couple truly made the most of every space in their venue, the magnificent Axnoller Estate in Dorset. They had their ceremony outdoors, drinks in a dreamy Raj style tent and their reception in the beautiful barn space - every part was perfectly styled but I love Kira's honesty about it all 'I didn’t want anything to look too try hard (even though we all tried really hard!)' I think she pulled it off perfectly though guys, what do you think?

The Fashion & Beauty

Kira The Bride: I love the boho chic look and I think that was a perfect way to describe my dress. I got it from Mirror Mirror London. I wore my Nan’s silver cross necklace around my wrist as a bracelet. I wanted a natural look which I think Michaela totally achieved. Emily from Amazing Face Dorset did my hair. She was so quick and so relaxed and she did the perfect plaits. 

The Ceremony

My best friend Katy Quorn did a reading of an original piece she wrote for the occasion which included getting all the guests singing along!

The Styling

Whites, blues purples a wild flower look to match the relaxed vibe. I didn’t want anything to look too try hard (even though we all tried really hard!) just naturally beautiful. Jennifer Poynter Flowers did our floral design. She completely understood what I wanted and did an amazing job, the flowers were stunning. I found a picture of the draping flowers used to frame a doorway and Jennifer pulled it off brilliantly around the glass doors, giving a wonderful backdrop to both the ceremony and our top table.  

The Evening

Entertainment (day & evening) - Stylish Entertainment. The Photo Lounge was so much better than a normal booth and we managed to frame everyone with our wedding date. We gave everyone a fridge magnet of their picture which acted as a wedding favour. We had a pizza truck in the evening by Charlie Jalopy Pizzas. Simply amazing! 

The Photography

I knew Lydia would capture the natural beauty of our wedding day as soon as I saw her website. Nothing too structured or formal she found the beauty in everything from the rolling fields surrounding us to a perfume bottle.
