Walk into the world of quintessential English charm at Jo & Henry's beautiful Kelmarsh Hall wedding. Are you striving toward a personal, elegant, and all-around gorgeous ceremony? Well, this will serve as brilliant inspiration, we promise. The day was filled to the brim with thoughtful, quirky details. This included the groom and groomsmen cycling into the ceremony (talk about some stellar wedding transport!), speeches announced by gong, joint speeches and handmade vintage flags. We can't forget those gorgeous mint bridesmaid dresses either! Jo & Henry were also able to use Kelmarsh Hall as a canvas to show off their personalities, demonstrating what a fantastic team the two of them make. The light, happiness and love of their day were captured perfectly by Recommended supplier, Anna Vesty Photography.
We did a lot of research to find suppliers. There were mood boards, spreadsheets, and interviews! Rock My Wedding was definitely a source of inspiration, alongside trawling Instagram. Of all the suppliers, we were fussiest about our photographer. Anna Vesty was perfect - relaxed, documentary-style, with a slightly muted palette that was perfect for us.

We didn't go for a big theme, but we wanted to make the most of the gorgeous house and gardens at Kelmarsh Hall, and ensure everyone felt at home. So we landed on something like a relaxed country house garden party - croquet on the lawns, drinks, canapés, and kids' picnics in the walled garden. We had friends and family photos scattered around the house, board games in the bar, and squishy sofas to sink into by the fire. Our colours were sage green and blush pink - personal favourites of ours, and conveniently the colours of the rooms at Kelmarsh.
If you're a book lover, then this brilliantly bookish present idea will be right up your street. Jo & Henry asked guests that, if they planned on giving them a gift, for it to be a book, with a dedication from them in the front. This means that the couple has an eclectic library, that will take a lifetime to get through. That sounds pretty dreamy for the bookworms amongst us. The couple stated how fun it was to unwrap all of the books - which say as much about their guests as they do about Jo & Henry! If you're struggling to think of wedding gift ideas, then this is a great idea.
For Jo, the whole service was very special, particularly having a friend deliver the sermon. And Henry's brother and his girlfriend singing! A close second was seeing how much fun family and friends were having. For Henry, it was seeing Jo walking into the church, and welling up almost immediately!
