This was day three of the couple’s epic three-day multicultural wedding extravaganza that embraced Hindu traditions as well as Italian-Catholic traditions. On this day, Shruti wore a classic slip wedding dress with statement red bangles as a tribute to her heritage. David opted for a light three-piece suit to match the laidback summer marquee wedding vibes. It’s just so good! Shruti & David approached wedding planner, The Blissful Bride, to create a 3-day wedding for two families merging two cultures. I was lucky to be asked to capture all the feels of the Italian-Catholic celebration on day three. Shruti saw a mood board the Blissful Bride posted on Instagram and knew straight away that this was ‘her person’ to bring her vision to life.

Shruti & David made long-distance love work between two cities, London and New York. The couple locked down (is it too early for pandemic puns?) their engagement during the pandemic. A year later, Shruti & David married at the stunning Hinwick House on the Northamptonshire-Bedfordshire border. The classic country house wedding venue was modelled on Buckingham Palace! For the reception, the couple had a pretty marquee decorated with a blue and white colour scheme including delicate patterned china plates and taper candles. The vintage and rustic elements make this reception the quintessential summer marquee wedding. The images we're showing you here are actually the final day of wedding celebrations following a 2-day Hindu celebration.
