A music parade on a vintage tractor around a meadow? Yes, you heard that right...don't say we don't spoil you! As passionate musicians, there was no way music wouldn't be a predominant theme on this couple's big day! From string quintets to jazz bands, there was no end to the entertainment, even the couple's friends and family got involved. Held at the beautifully classic Hellens Manor country house in Herefordshire and captured by Lauren Knuckey Photography - one of our insanely talented recommended suppliers!
We are both professional musicians and had music throughout our special day! Friends played in our string quintet with piano for the ceremony, then in a bucolic parade around the meadow and finally for some awesome jazz bands in the evening! Both me and Ed (as husband and wife!) played!!! Even Lauren (our amazing photographer!) is a friend as she was a professional musician before going into photography!

The vibe of the day was vintage and we wanted everything to be really personal - everything was relaxed and really special with the small details that everyone contributed towards. Every guest contributed something from their heart and the joy and delight this gave us was immense. We wanted everything to be as locally sourced and personal as possible.

The highlight of our day was our parade around the meadow on the trailer of a vintage tractor (belonging to a friend). Really unusual and just gorgeous! Another highlight was the dress! I found my 1930’s dress in Snape Maltings antique shop whilst working on a music project at Snape - it is a really special location for me that I have been to a lot so this was really special.
