Hannah & Mike’s Brympton House wedding was all about love! After the wedding, every guest said how they felt all those lovey-dovey feelings throughout the entire day. Brympton House is a beautiful country house venue and was the perfect backdrop for Hannah & Mike’s timeless monochrome wedding day. Hannah wore a stunning wedding dress from Recommended Supplier, Made With Love, that has our jaw on the floor. Recommended Supplier, Abigail Westrup Bridal, was the seamstress for this gorgeous dress! Having everyone you love in one place, celebrating your marriage is an incredible privilege! Hannah & Mike said their vows surrounded by 85 loved ones. The highlight of the day was the amazing wedding band found via Recommended Supplier, Entertainment Nation! Capturing this rainy wedding day was Recommended Supplier, Storybox Films.
The moment we were pronounced husband and wife was very special. It all felt so natural! This was partly thanks to our amazing support team we had in our bridal party and groomsmen, as well as friends and family who helped everything run smoothly in the morning. We felt so relaxed and could just really soak up the occasion. We were also so grateful for our lovely suppliers and registrars who were wonderful. Our other favourite standout moment was our first dance. We were so nervous about it, but the band played the song (Sonnentanz by Klangkarussell) so well, and when our guests joined us, it was truly one of the best feelings in the world.
Hannah & Mike
Hannah & Mike wanted to have a timeless and elegant vibe with the styling to match that of the stunning Brympton House wedding venue. Hannah is openly indecisive, so she wanted to choose flowers and decor that were timeless. The florals were all white including roses, hydrangeas, delphiniums and lots of dark green foliage, which pop against the coral pink tones of the bridesmaid’s dresses. Brympton House was the winning choice because the building and grounds blew this couple away! Whilst the ceremony was super traditional, in the evening, the vibe naturally evolved as guests made their way to the Party Barn!
The first dance set the tone for the reception! The guests haven’t stopped talking about the atmosphere the band created with a four-piece roaming band during the drinks reception and a five-piece band for the evening reception. They played the first dance song so well; everyone had it in their heads for weeks! The couple also used the DJ service in the evening. The couple’s photographers/videographers were incredible. Hannah is not super confident with having her photo taken (although she looks like a natural in these wedding photos) but after a pre-wedding shoot, she felt ready to strike a pose. Now, the couple has beautiful wedding photos and videos to reminisce about their favourite day ever.
It’s easily said, and very hard to do, but don’t sweat the small stuff. Enjoy the process! We made everything into a celebration and tried to make it all feel special, even the trickier parts like seating charts and guest lists! It goes so quickly and those moments leading up to the wedding help to make it all the more memorable. We have so many wonderful memories to think back on from our evening's spent planning. Our other advice would be if your budget allows it, get a videographer!’ Again, the day goes so quickly, and we have found it invaluable to relive the day with friends and family.
Hannah & Mike
Although very traditional and classic, Hannah & Mike still had so many personal touches in their day to make it true to them. The couple personalised their wedding vows! Here are all our tips on personalising your wedding vows. Plus, the couple had two wedding readings during their ceremony. One from Mike’s Dad, which was The Art of Marriage and one from Hannah’s Mum! This was particularly special for the couple as their parents chose their own readings. Aww!
