We’ve got absolute destination wedding heaven this weekend with another stunning real wedding, this time taking place in Santorini. Hannah & Justine tied the knot in Santorini and what a location it is! With an unparalleled golden hour, an intimate feel and the iconic blue and white buildings (perfect for weddings!), Santorini is a gorgeous wedding destination. Hannah & Justine kept the styling of their wedding relaxed with a boho edge. The couple both wore delicate lace wedding dresses and chose a coral and gold colour palette that naturally complemented the azure blue scenery and the Aegean Sea. It’s a total fairytale wedding complete with flower men throwing petals to the Top Gun theme song, of course. The whole day was planned by the amazing Recommended Supplier, One Fine Day Wedding Consultants.
Party vibes were our aim! We wanted every single one of our guests to have the absolute best day. We knew the Aegean Sea would naturally provide the most beautiful backdrop and we wanted nothing to detract from the stunning views. We chose light and airy florals with splashes of bright coral and gold for our table decor, bridal party attire, bridal accessories and even the confetti.

Two Brides At Santorini Wedding
Hannah & Justine’s Santorini wedding was symbolic, as they had already done the ‘official legal bit’ a week prior. This meant the couple were able to fulfil their dream of reciting personal wedding vows to each other. Knowing this would be an emotional part of the day for everybody, Hannah & Justine decided to request a teeny favour from the flower men. Their job was to set the tone for the wedding as they walked down the aisle. The flower men wore Ray Bans as they tossed flower petals with feeling to the Top Gun theme tune. They fully understood their mission and broke the ice for everyone! They’d even grown moustaches for the part! The ceremony took place on the upper terrace at Buddha Bar, which is located at the highest point of Imerovigli village and has 360-degree panoramic views of the island and out to the Aegean Sea. An unforgettable moment for the brides was being whisked away by their photographer and videographer for the portrait session in the streets of Santorini. As Hannah & Justine walked along the cobbles people stopped to say congratulations, many were applauding and cheering and another couple even stopped and asked to have a photo taken with the newlyweds.
Our advice is to hire a videographer! It seems that a lot of couples prioritise finding their photographer, with the videography either being a bit of an afterthought, or, something they don’t end up having at all. Your photos will be beautiful and something you can treasure forever but a film, an actual film with music and sound, will transport you back to those magical moments and allow you to relive them. Photography and videography are as important as each other and if you can find suppliers that have worked together before... You will have yourselves the ultimate dream team. Just like we did.
