If you’re looking for serious style, then look no further. Glen & James are coming in hot with an orange groom velvet blazer and plenty of colour! Wanting to support local businesses, this gorgeous couple opted for an eclectic boho style, complete with plenty of soft tones and a relaxed vibe. Their buttonholes and bouquets were homemade, with a mix of pampas grass, dried spheres, eucalyptus, peonies, burnt orange bunny tales, and ivory roses (LOVE). We’re also loving Glen’s kilt, which was originally his Grandads! So, let’s take a moment and appreciate this colourful day, all beautifully captured by Recommended Supplier, Ruth Clements Photography.
We went against the norm and wanted the day to reflect how chilled we both are! So we had the ceremony and reception in one place (the chequers) and a canapé style wedding breakfast without a seating plan.

James & Glen are big advocates of not stressing over the small things - especially the weather! When it eventually came down to it, the rain was forecast for their big day, but it really didn’t matter. They were too busy being in love and enjoying every little moment, they simply didn’t care about the rain outside! They were sure to cherish every moment throughout their glorious day.
James & Glen had many moments that stuck out to them, including seeing their friends and family have an incredible time in one place. But, their unplanned dancing to Greased Lightnin' was a serious favourite! Busting out some pretty awesome moves and locking eyes on the dance floor, their guests went wild and enjoyed an impromptu moment that they definitely won’t forget!
All of our suppliers absolutely smashed it out of the park to make our day special for us. But a special shout out to Ruth, not only for your insane photography skills but for keeping us composed. You were incredible and we love you.
