Green & White Bohemian Wedding in Italy
Valentina & Omar: Omar and I wanted to organise our wedding all in the same venue, so we chose
Castello di San Sebastiano da Po where we could get ready, have our ceremony and wedding breakfast.
We chose this place because it's charming and has a lot of covered spaces just in case of rain… and rain it did!
Unfortunately, we couldn't use all the outside spaces during our wedding day, but we had an amazing dinner in the ancient wine gallery and we didn’t care about the rain.
Laure de Sagazan Boho Bridal Gown
I don’t like classic brides gowns and I don’t like brides styles in general, so for me, I wanted something unconventional and comfortable, to be myself all day long with a twist. We got a baby, Camilla, so I needed to be ready to run with her and not be in a huge dress! I saw
Laure de Sagazan models on the web and I fell in love with this style. So I went to the Rome boutique and I found the perfect dress for me: clear and elegant and with a double layer that changes it in a second! I completed my outfit with a pair of
Anniel shoes, an Italian brand of ballet pumps.
Green & White Hanging Hoop Flowers & Decor
I totally trusted in my wedding designer Alice (
Studio Alispi) for the mood of the wedding! She worked with the flower designer
Olivia Brusca to realise something unique for us. She suggested I don’t use flowers on the table, but only candles, a lot of candles! Over the long table, they displayed dozens of green circles in different sizes: all of our guests were speechless about it, they'd never seen anything like it before! The circles moving slowly over the table and our dinner was highlighted by the gentle candlelight.
We had similar decoration in the church, where they used only green and white candles.
My only request was about a flower crown, and Olivia Brusca made two for me! Both in green. The first one had some white touches and the second one had some eryngium in it. My bouquet was wild and elegant mood with only green and white flowers.
Wedding Ceremony
I asked my uncle to conduct the ceremony. It was a very touching moment keeping it in the family.
Wedding Photographer
To portray every moment I absolute wanted
Margherita and
Carlo! I saw their works in the same venue from past projects and weddings and I fell in love with their way to shoot in a spontaneous, delicate and natural way. We have got the best portraits ever. We laughed and had a lot of fun together!
