Rock My Wedding Editor, Jennifer Read-Dominguez, gives us all the deets on her 2025 wedding dress trends forecast, providing detailed insight into next year's hottest bridal fashion trends, derived straight from the Bridal Fashion Week runways. Let’s get into it:
Galia Lahav's 2025 collection brings Rococo influences to the forefront, blending intricate patterns with opulent textures for a truly luxurious aesthetic. Known for corset mastery, the collection features exclusive fabrics like luxurious French laces and silks, using modern techniques to create timeless yet avant-garde pieces.
"The Bridgerton-inspired corsetry trend is still going strong, and it’s easy to see why - its torso-lengthening, silhouette-defining effects are irresistible. Nearly every collection on this season's runways featured some form of exposed corsetry." Says Jennifer Read-Dominguez.
Hera Couture’s "Distilled Finesse" collection fuses floral laces with sumptuous satins and expertly detailed beading. Crafted by Katie Yeung, each piece so perfectly combines structured corsetry with a softer, minimalist aesthetic. It’s a modern take on timeless elegance, where every gown feels both opulent and effortless.
Ines Di Santo’s "Renaissance Reimagined" collection captures the modern bride's essence through a bold interplay of texture and proportion. Each gown merges traditional elements with innovative design, making it a stunning choice for brides seeking to blend heritage with modern elegance.
According to our Editor: "Designers are embracing a minimalist take on Renaissance shapes, perfect for timeless and romantic brides. This trend merges historical grandeur with modern simplicity, creating an effortlessly elegant look." - Jennifer Read-Dominguez
CINQ's Collection IV draws inspiration from the drama of theatre and the artistry of cinematic storytelling. Each gown encapsulates the essence of romance and intrigue, with avant-garde details and delicate lace, creating gowns both bold and ethereal.
As the name of the collection suggests, central to the “CHIC & BOWS” collection are striking bows, each handmade from the finest Italian fabrics and French lace. The eight new dresses masterfully balance couture craftsmanship with an avant-garde vision, elevating the concept of bridal chic.
The Nocturne Symphony collection is a dreamlike homage to the night, featuring modern seaming and structured corsets that blend with dramatic elements like exaggerated basque waists and couture volume.
"The Basque waist trend, inspired by Renaissance-era silhouettes, shows no signs of fading. This season, designers have taken these waist-elongating, ultra-flattering looks to new heights." - Jennifer Read-Dominguez.
