The Major Trends to Emerge From New York Bridal Fashion Week Fall 2025

Rock My Wedding Editor, Jennifer Read-Dominguez, gives us all the deets on her 2025 wedding dress trends forecast, providing detailed insight into next year's hottest bridal fashion trends, derived straight from the Bridal Fashion Week runways. Let’s get into it:

  • Renaissance-inspired minimalism: Combines historical grandeur with modern simplicity for an elegant, timeless look.
  • Elongated waists & drop-waists: Ultra-flattering silhouettes seen in corseted styles.
  • Corsetry: Inspired by Bridgerton, corsets are defining the bridal silhouette.
  • Lace: Intricate lace and embroidery add romance, from subtle accents to full lace gowns.
  • Multiple wedding-day looks: Brides are embracing various looks throughout the day to express the multiple facets of their personalities. A great way to go about it, for those who can’t decide between designer vs high street wedding dresses
  • Bridal separates: Two-piece ensembles remain popular, offering flexibility.
  • Short veils: Playful and individual, short veils are replacing long, traditional trains.
  • Convertible dresses: Dresses with detachable elements like skirts and sleeves, allowing multiple styles in one.
  • Florals: Bold, oversized rosettes and 3D appliques bring texture and artistic elegance.
  • Crystal embellishments: Crystals add sparkle and glamour, becoming a key detail for bridal gowns.
  • Something Blue: No longer a subtle accessory, blue is making bold appearances in bridal fashion.

Galia Lahav's 2025 collection brings Rococo influences to the forefront, blending intricate patterns with opulent textures for a truly luxurious aesthetic. Known for corset mastery, the collection features exclusive fabrics like luxurious French laces and silks, using modern techniques to create timeless yet avant-garde pieces.

"The Bridgerton-inspired corsetry trend is still going strong, and it’s easy to see why - its torso-lengthening, silhouette-defining effects are irresistible. Nearly every collection on this season's runways featured some form of exposed corsetry." Says Jennifer Read-Dominguez.
