Leah & Craig were officially married on New Year’s Eve 2020, with just their parents present. Their ‘I Do Take Two’ wedding took place the following year, featuring all their friends and family who weren’t able to attend previously. Wanting to support local suppliers, they realised how much talent was right on their doorstep in Dorset! Including Recommended Supplier, Steph Newton, who photographed their beautiful day. Their day consisted of a cool ‘Cali vibe’, including mini pineapples within the bouquets, which we just love.

We both feel incredibly lucky that we were able to do it all again, and share it a second time around with our closest friends and family! It’s not everyday you can marry your best friend and partner in crime twice!

VIBE
Disco balls, palm leaves and pineapples. The bridal & bridesmaid bouquet’s actually had mini pineapples in them- they were fab! We wanted a fun, cool 'Cali vibe’, including muted tones with pops of bright colour, adding a contrast to the palm leaves. After keeping it very traditional & classic for our NYE wedding, we wanted all the fun summer vibes! We felt very relaxed during the day, as it was for everyone else to enjoy, and for us to watch them enjoy it! The pineapple's & disco balls aren't for everyone but we loved them!
ADVICE
Listening to each other, keeping calm, and creating a spreadsheet (which you will want to burn when the wedding is over - joking!) Have fun and enjoy every moment; from the food tasting, to choosing wedding rings, to dancing around the kitchen, to your first dance! Ensure sure you do things you would naturally want to do or spend money on! If you love tapas, have tapas food! If love cheese, have a cheese-cake! DO YOU… IT'S YOUR DAY! Or, have two days like we did!

The weekend before our wedding we made our 'BUMS ON SEATS' pallet for about £10. I spent hours clicking away with my Dymo label maker using a cool neon pink colour to label everything! It drove Craig MAD.
