The perfect combination of elegance and simplicity! An Emma Beaumont dress, blush rose bouquet with pampas grass and light pink satin bridesmaid dresses made for a totally amazing day! The traditional meets modern ceremony with a string quartet was followed by a long drinks reception in the beautiful gardens. And to end the love fuelled day was a cosy evening around the fire pit - now that sounds like our kind of wedding!
Old Hollywood wedding with light pink satin bridesmaid dresses
We wanted the day to reflect who we are as a couple as much as possible. I grew up in Los Angeles and as we’ve both has some memorable times out there it was really important that our wedding weekend had an American flavour and a touch of old Hollywood glamour. For dessert, everyone made s’mores at the fire pit on the lawn outside the Gillyflower. We served spicy margaritas for sundown which really kicked off the party.

We knew we wanted traditional with a modern twist from our venue, flowers and music! We wanted the weekend to be relaxing and fun with drinks and food flowing. A welcome BBQ with lawn games on day one, fuelled by cheeseburgers and methuselahs of rose, went late into the night! We knew the flowers/styling were so integral to the overall aesthetic, wanting it to feel like a British garden that complimented the grounds of Elmore. Breige, our florists, perfectly captured modern, classic styling by using candles and traditional creams, dusty pinks with greens and pampas grass.

Applique bespoke Emma Beaumont wedding dress
I never even visited a bridal shop and tried on any dresses. I always knew I wanted something completely bespoke. Finding Emma Beaumont and going up to her atelier for fittings was such an amazing experience. Getting to wear my insanely gorgeous Emma Beaumont dresses was such a highlight! And the bridesmaids complemented perfectly in light pink satin bridesmaid dresses!
