Wedding With Burnt Orange Bridesmaid Dresses

Photography by Olegs Samsonovs Photography

If burnt orange bridesmaid dresses and pampas grass are your things, then you are going to love this wedding! A modern rustic celebration at The Old Kent Barn for this couple who planned their wedding in a matter of months and boy did they do well! Personal touches and a helping hand from family and friends made this November wedding incredibly special. And what was our favourite part you ask? We just love that guests were able to take home the dried flower decorations as a keepsake from the memorable day, beautiful and eco-friendly!

The only thing that made our wedding unique is that it was personal to us. We’re very blessed with creative friends and family so we got help from them as much as possible - everyone was excited for the day. We got engaged that last bank holiday in May and we were married by November 8th and absolutely could not wait to get married! A year of planning just sounded like too much organisation! We managed to get all of our first choice suppliers with no issues.

The vibe was easy and relaxed. The most important part was marrying each other, surrounded by our loved ones. We wanted the day to be memorable, of course, so we went with warm colours to warm up the colder November day! The dried flower displays meant friends were able to take the centrepieces home with them as a keepsake. We things simple and classic with a modern twist.

Modern rustic wedding at The Old Kent Barn

The ceremony was so special, especially the worship we had with one of our bridesmaids leading the singing. There was an undeniable atmosphere of love. Taking pictures outside with all of our friends creating memories of a lifetime was special too. The food created at The Old Kent Barn was also absolutely incredible. Guests have said it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. Also, just remember the main reason why you’re getting married, don’t sweat the small stuff you can’t control everything. In years to come you won’t care about the cake that was slightly wonky or the wrong coloured napkins but you will be pleased you married the right one.
