Farbridge Wedding Venue with Strapless Fishtail Bride Dress & Neon Sign

A mixture of black tie and rustic luxe was the theme for the day at this Farbridge wedding venue in Sussex. The bride looked stunning, next to her grey bridesmaids, in an Allure Bridals fishtail wedding dress with a simple satin body and tiered ruffle bottom to add the wow factor! Wanting the day to represent them as a couple and keep some traditions but not be too formal, there was a mixture of stylings and design elements that came together to create this beautiful day! From the steel drums playing while the guests enjoyed Pimms on the lawn to the Airstream photobooth and neon wedding sign that lit up the dancefloor, it was everything the bride and groom loved in one place!

What Made Our Day Unique
We really wanted our day to reflect our personalities, we did everything exactly how we wanted and we weren't afraid to mix different styles to make it unique to us. We wanted to keep the traditions but we didnt want it too formal. From the vintage convertible Jaguar to the Airstream photo booth, the steel drums and totally bespoke summer BBQ menu - it was out perfect summer wedding. We also had charity wedding favours in honour of both our nans, it was really important to us to have special touched to remember them and include them in our day.

Farbridge Wedding Venue

The day started with a church ceremony where the groom waited for his bride in a classic black tuxedo. After the exchanging of vows the couple hopped into a cool vintage Jaguar and made their way to the Farbridge wedding venue in style. The rustic charm and the added retro decorations was the perfect backdrop for the day's celebrations. The restored barn in Sussex is a picturesque venue, a quiet oasis of natural beauty and is one of our handpicked suppliers on 'The List'!

Inspiration & Styling
Our day had such a fun, summer vibe - the steel drums playing while we all drank Pimms in the beautiful courtyard with the sun shining agianst the stunning backdrop. The style inspiration for our wedding was 'Rustic Luxe, we went for lots of fresh foliage, gold and rustic wood - and the boys in tuxedos added to that luxe look! We also incorporated a retro vibe with the Airstream Photo Booth, our peg board table plan and lots of polaroids. We loved the neon sign too, which we added to a foliage arch on the dancefloor.
