Even if we asked AI to create an image of the perfect wedding, we don’t think it would look half as good as Debbie & Kevin’s wedding day. The Dolomites in Italy are one of the most enchanting and magical places we’ve ever seen. The mountains just do not seem real with water that looks as clear and blue as the sky! It looks like an untouched corner of the world and its secluded scenery makes it one of the most romantic locations for a wedding. Debbie & Kevin originally wanted to elope by themselves (oh, you romantics!). Instead, they decided on a micro wedding and invited their parents and siblings to watch them tie the knot! The intimate wedding matched the serene location and what you’re about to see is pure magic. It was all captured by Recommended Supplier, Emma-Jane Photography.
One of our favourite moments from our special day was the vow and ring exchange. Since we had rented Lago di Braies, the lake and its boat docks, the vow and ring exchange was very intimate. We were able to hear each other’s promises for a lifetime with our closest family. The bonus part was being surrounded by beautiful and surreal views.
Debbie & Kevin
Debbie & Kevin had always dreamt of an elopement and had always wanted to get married in the mountains. Therefore, The Dolomites in Italy were the perfect combination of both of those things. Initially, Debbie & Kevin were looking into an elopement because a luxe grand wedding simply wasn’t their style. However, they decided to invite parents and siblings to be there to witness the magical day. Being able to celebrate their marriage surrounded by their closest family abroad in another country made it very unique.
Getting married in the mountains comes with rocky terrain. Literally. Knowing that, at some point in the day, Debbie was going to go hiking in her wedding dress and possibly ruin it, she was at first thinking of opting for a budget-friendly option. But weddings don’t come around often and she embraced the fact that she could ruin the gown and still went to buy her dream wedding gown. Fortunately, the gown wasn’t ruined (nothing a dry-clean couldn’t fix) even after dipping into the lake with it!
Plan your day in advance. Make sure that both of you are on the same page and are well-informed of all the details. Try to be flexible and easy-going.
