When planning your summer festival outfits you may not be considering a corset back wedding dress... but Nina is here to show you how to pull it off. Granted, Beninafest was actually Ben & Nina's barn wedding, so the incredible white gown was sort of expected. But that didn't stop the festival style posters, the wristbands or burger van from making an appearance! Other notable appearances included *those* orange satin bridesmaid dresses from Recommended supplier Rewritten Bridesmaids and Nina & Ben's three-month old baby boy who was really getting his first festival experience in early. All the joy and colour was snapped by Recommended photographer Kirsty Mackenzie, and captured on film by Recommended videographer Joshua Andrew Potter. We're sure we heard the words dream team being thrown around somewhere...
We used Rock My Wedding for inspiration and research and found Kirsty Mackenzie from your Recommended list, falling in love with her work instantly. We knew she would be the right fit for our day and we never looked back!

So, let's have a quick chat about this corset back wedding dress from Dando London. Because, wow. Should Nina have turned up to Coachella wearing this exact outfit, we're convinced she would have stolen the show there too. Especially with her girls in those orange satin bridesmaid dresses... talk about a squad! However, Ben was not to be outshone. We haven't seen a patterned shirt worn this well in a while we must admit. Paired with the pop of orange in his bow tie means the only thing we're sure of is that we should be taking notes. We'll also jot down a quick line about those buttonholes. And a quick asterisk for the burgundy brogues...
Orange was the theme of the day, which is only making us feel even warmer and fuzzier inside than we did after we spotted Ben & Nina's three-month-old in a neckerchief. (Or that corset back wedding dress. We're a little obsessed...). The florals were best described as show stopping. The aisle style as jaw dropping. And the stationery and signage downright inspired! (All Ben's handiwork we may add). After using Rock My Wedding to get inspired and do some research, Ben & Nina found photographer Kirsty Mackenzie who specialises in a pop of colour. And oh boy did she capture the colour. Full disclosure, this is all going straight on our orange wedding inspiration Pinterest board. You're welcome!
The inspiration on styling was centred around our couple name: Benina. Beninafest was born! Ben designed music tickets for invites, music posters for the line up and a huge banner for our back drop. We love the colour orange which you could undoubtedly see on the day. It ran through our outfits, flowers and decor! Even our baby boy wore an orange bow tie!

From the corset back wedding dress to the magnificent orange floral aisle installations, this is a festival wedding unlike any we've seen before. If, like us, you didn't manage to get a wristband... or even a day ticket... or even a resale off Facebook Marketplace... then don't worry! We have even more more festival inspo. (Including a popcorn bar and doughnut wall). Or if it was the florals you loved, then we have a wedding florist's wedding that will have your jaw meeting the floor. Our orange wedding inspiration Pinterest board is also filling up by the day and will have you on your way to planning in no time!
