You're in for a treat with this summer celebration! A Burley Manor wedding with copper bridesmaid dresses and plenty of DIY aspects make for a stunning day. Beth & Zac made sure their boho-luxe-styled day was also full of lots of personal touches. They completed fun and simple DIY projects including a guest card box, flower arch, and photo frames to hold the table numbers. The bride looks absolutely beautiful in her dress by Made With Love Bridal, a Recommended supplier. Shot by Emily Hudson Photography, this wedding will definitely put you in a feel-good mood!
Be super organised! I am a bit of an organisation freak! But this really paid off on our day. Creating budget spreadsheets, and keeping everything written down in a designated wedding notebook or typed up on a computer were some of the ways I did this. Having a wedding coordinator on the day, helped make our day run so smoothly.

The copper bridesmaid dresses are from Club L London. These beautiful satin bridesmaid dresses are the perfect rich copper colour, and all the bridesmaids loved them! Beth & Zac really wanted a boho-luxe vibe and settled on a combination of pampas grass and other textured items but also a sleek modern look like the silky copper bridesmaid dresses. Beth smartly opted for a chunky heel so there was no sinking in the dirt and a closed-toe if the weather was wet! Set in the New Forest, Burley Manor was decorated with a bespoke banner the couple won in a competition as well as lots of fun DIYs from the couple, friends, and family.
The styling had such a personal feel, while at the same time looking so sophisticated! To match the decor to the copper bridesmaid dresses the couple got involved in a few DIY projects. Beth DIY'd a guest card box, which she created from an IKEA mini indoor greenhouse and sprayed it copper. She also used an acrylic paint pen in white to write “Cards” and “Mr & Mrs Harris”. Beth sprayed £1 photo frames, also from IKEA, copper to hold our table numbers & menus on the reverse side. Her dad built an arch out of copper pipes for the florist to use. The couple spent a lot of time getting ideas from Pinterest and then putting their own spin on them!
Social media can be really helpful in the planning process. I made Pinterest boards and showed vendors the style we wanted and the flowers and colours that we were after. This is a vital step to get your thoughts across. We mostly found our suppliers through Instagram and word of mouth.
