Charlotte and Jared's family said their Clock Barn wedding was the one good thing to happen in 2020! Inviting only their parents to their intimate ceremony, they exchanged vows, wore their original outfits (including a headdress by, Recommended supplier, Debbie Carlisle), and couldn't be happier they did. It is clear they married for love. But, they also can't wait to host a wedding party with the rest of their guests later this year. Bring it on!
Jared and I originally had a large 85 person wedding planned but due to COVID, this wasn’t possible! So, we decided to go ahead and get married at our original venue with just parents there and we have planned a full wedding next year. We wanted to wear our planned outfits to keep it special and we were lucky that Sam came to capture everything beautifully! After the ceremony, we went for a wonderful meal at Rick Steins Winchester. It was totally different to expected but the perfect day and we can’t wait to celebrate properly with all our friends and family next year.Charlotte & Jared
Obviously, the vibe was different from what we planned, but we always wanted it to be very relaxed with rustic styling and great food/drinks. The colour scheme was very neutral with lots of green foliage. Hopefully, we can incorporate all of our ideas (and more) into our wedding next year too! Walking up the aisle and both seeing each other’s reactions for the first time was really special. It felt even more intimate because of the current situation.Charlotte & Jared
Don’t overthink things. Pinterest and blogs are great for inspiration, but, also we are strong believers in craft and DIY. There are so many great tutorials online and fun ways to make your day individual. The biggest piece of advice we have is to get married no matter what and celebrate properly another time when possible.Charlotte & Jared
Charlotte and Jared's Clock Barn wedding reminded us of Emily and Rob's rustic wedding complete with foliage and tears. Tissues at the ready for one of our favourite groom reactions EVER!
