Claire & Terry

If you like your weddings stripped back and stylish then you're going to adore Claire & Terry's big day. They chose the stunning Watergate Bay Hotel as their venue. With far reaching views across the bay, easy access to the coastal path and beach, Scandi-Chic decor and incredible food, it really is the best hotel to host your wedding day. Plus everyone can really let their hair down, as they can all stay at the hotel after the party. Claire & Terry's sartorial choices are spot on, Claire looks stunning in a gown by Blackburn Bridal and her bridesmaids are some of the most gorgeous I've ever seen! The images of them all frolicking on the beach are just perfect. The boys don't let the side down either, all looking rather dapper in black suits with braces and vintage tie clips. Images come from Sebastien Boudot, whose work we've featured several times before, but on French soil, so it's lovely to share some of his work from a wedding that took place right here. Enjoy lovely ones!

The Fashion

I wore a bespoke gown by Blackburn Bridal , with a pair of shoes from Office and vintage earrings. Terry wore a suit from John Lewis, his tie bar was vintage and he wore the new Rolex Air King watch.

The Venue

We married at the Watergate Bay Hotel, Cornwall and so we focussed on creating a romantic beach scape, using neutral shells, message in a bottle theme calligraphy for stationery. We used lots of pillar candles and had a focus on natural textures and materials.

The Entertainment

We had live Acoustic music by Gavin Hyde in the early evening and the wedding reception DJ was Joe Langenhan.

The Food

Our cake was by Faye at The Natural Cake Co.. The food was by the Zachary’s restaurant at Watergate.

Starter - Cornish Crab on grilled sour dough

Main - Beef wellington with dauphinoise potatoes, french beans and Sauce Bordelaise

Desert - Raspberry pavlova with vanilla bean mascarpone
