It may have just turned September, but it's Christmas at Burley Manor for this celebration. Having met and got engaged during this time of year, it was only right for this couple to have a cosy winter wedding! From the carols in the church to the Christmas trees lit up at the wedding breakfast, everything was focused around the bride and grooms favourite season. A cosy wedding filled with sparkle with sequin bridesmaid dresses, fairy lights and romantic candles. After looking through this celebration, photographed by Hayley Savage Photography, we are definitely ready for Winter and the cosy evenings, is it December yet?!

What Made Our Day Unique
It was always going to be a December wedding for us. We met on New Years Eve 2015, engaged on Christmas Eve 2018 and married in 2019, of course in December. So December will always be our month and our wedding reflected this. From the lovely Christmas carols in the church which everyone put their hearts into singing, to the Christmas trees, roaring log fires, masses of candles, fairy lights and decorations, all combining to make a truly magical beautiful day.

Burley Manor

Burley Manor was decorated to perfection to suit the seasonal wedding. The Hampshire wedding venue was littered with foliage decor and monochrome signs with the couples favourite sayings. The wedding breakfast tables were lined with festive table runners, romantic candles and personalised wooden name places. And speaking of wedding breakfasts, while the bride and groom, surrounded by their guests, tucked into their first meal as husband and wife, the grooms mum and sister surprised the couple with signing waiters to add a bit of fun to dinner time!

Inspiration & Styling
We wanted our winter wedding to be warm, relaxed, full of fairy lights, candles and sparkle. Most importantly we wanted all our family and friends to have fun with good food, music and lots of dancing.
