A three day Brinsop Court wedding extravaganza? We'll take five, please. Mandy & Paul's incredible celebration of love was beautifully adorned in some of our all-time favourite colours - dark green paired with burnt orange. And it wasn't any old burnt orange, either. Paul's amazing burnt orange velvet suit jacket was the talk of the town. The town being our office - and the talk being all of us frantically online shopping to find one for ourselves. It wasn't just Paul's outfit that had us gawking. Mandy's bridal outfit was simply divine. That low v-neck dress with the 3D floral applique train? Sign. Us. Up. Recommended supplier Jessica Grace Photography captured the incredible love and energy at this wedding perfectly - the visceral energy palpable in every photo. Every great wedding deserves a great wedding gift list. Luckily for this couple, they had just that - courtesy of Recommended gift list Prezola.
Our celebration felt unique as we hired Brinsop Court wedding venue for 3 days & nights. We had 37 guests (family, bridesmaids, groomsmen and partners) stay with us for that duration, which was incredible! It gave us all a chance to spend proper leisurely time together. Playing games, using the hot tub, the like. Paul and I were proud of the fact we catered for our guests over the whole weekend. Wedding breakfast, afternoon tea, booze, and Mandy's dad and stepmum cooked. They also served a Sri Lankan feast in the banqueting hall the night before the wedding. It was so special.

Brinsop Court wedding venue is a captivating gem nestled in the picturesque countryside of Herefordshire. This enchanting historic manor exudes timeless charm with its stunning medieval architecture, encompassing rich timber beams, mullioned windows, and ivy-clad walls. Surrounded by acres of lush greenery and blooming gardens, the estate offers a tranquil escape from the bustling world. This is what makes it a perfect wedding venue. And it was the perfect venue choice for Mandy & Paul. The couple hired the venue for three days, so they could enjoy the warm, inviting atmosphere entirely. The gorgeous winter colour schemed juxtaposed perfectly with Brinsop Court's seamless blend of elegance of the old world with modern amenities. The wedding party explored the quaint chapel, meandered through the scenic woodland, and indulged in the serenity of the countryside. What more could you ask from a wedding venue? Brinsop Court promises a remarkable and cherished experience for all who visit. And we're pretty sure Mandy & Paul could attest to that.
Burnt orange is a popular colour choice at weddings. And for good reason! This warm and inviting color evokes a sense of romance, passion, and winter/autumnal charm. It infuses every aspect of the wedding with cosiness. Mandy & Paul certainly thought so. Mandy's bridesmaids were wearing the most gorgeous one shoulder burnt orange bridesmaid dresses. And the burnt O doesn't end there! Paul's velvet grooms blazer was a touch of genius. The wedding tablescape wasn't overtly orange - but that gorgeous table runner tied the whole thing together. Contrasting with the forest green tapered candles and napkins, this was a winter colour scheme dream. Wedding color schemes play a pivotal role in creating the overall ambiance and setting the tone for one of life's most cherished celebrations. The chosen color palette reflects the couple's personalities, and tastes. Whether it's a vibrant and joyful theme, a serene and romantic atmosphere, or a classic and timeless elegance, the colors set the mood and tell the couple's story.
We really wanted the day to feel like ours. And for guests to recognise our style and vibe, of course. Mandy's favourite colour is burnt orange. As the wedding was February, we wanted it to feel wintery hence the velvet, with a hint of brightness / warmth and spring. Paul wanted to feel special too, and wear something he could never really wear anywhere else! We think we got that spot on. We had lots of childhood photos of us, pictures of relatives no longer with us. The food and canapes had Sri Lankan touches from Mandy's childhood food memories.
