Georgie & Tom
Georgie & Tom’s Tipi wedding is one for your Pinterest boards, and it was all styled by Georgie, who has recently become an interior designer and wedding stylist. How cool? The vibe was weird and wonderful magical woodland and featured 250 lampshades hung from trees and Moroccan rugs running up to the tipis. If that isn’t boho decor nailed, we don’t know what is! Long banquet tables and green foliage adorned the tipis, and Georgie & Tom chose a drinks bottle table plan to really get the party started! We’re big fans of any DIY at weddings, as it brings a sentimental and personal touch to your big day. Georgie’s mum hand-drew all the artwork and even the wedding logo. Georgie loved it so much she is considering having it as a tattoo.
You know you’re in for a killer celebration when the dress code is ‘a touch of extravagance’. We’re talking sparkly sequined suits, full feathered outfits, metallic platforms and crazy hats. Tom wore a pinstripe suit that gave pure funky vintage vibes, and Georgie wore a pink Rue De Seine bridal gown that screams boho bride in all the best ways. You know we're a sucker for an alternative bridal look, and even more so an outfit change - Georgie changed into white ruffle bridal separates to dance the night away in style. A wedding isn’t extravagant without entertainment, and to stick to their non-traditional theme, not only did Georgie & Tom hire a wedding band, but also an unusual circus performer singing in a giant pink balloon! Yes, you read that correctly.
The evening was an explosion of musical mayhem! The dance floor was full and extremely sweaty!
Georgie & Tom
Are you thinking about what music to have at your wedding? Well, if you need inspiration on songs to walk down the aisle to, Georgie walked down the aisle to an acoustic version of Sweet Child O’ Mine, sung by her friend Tom. Or perhaps you want to be non-traditional too? Georgie & Tom had their guests sing Your Song by Elton John instead of a hymn. Georgie’s friend Adam also did a wedding reading at the church ceremony, which was a poem about how Georgie & Tom met. As we always say, Your Day, Your Way!
