We love a DIY wedding, but more than that, we love this bride in her beautiful Bianco Evento gown! Amy & Dan knew they wanted their wedding to reflect who they are as a couple. Their day was filled with lots of projects; from the decor, to the flowers - even down to building their bar and photo booth! The vibe of their day was fun, relaxed, and filled with all their family and friends. They also had a magician, which was supposedly for the kids, but honestly, you’d find us front and centre for that show...
"Do what you want to do. It's so easy to listen to other peoples thoughts and opinions on what a wedding should be - but it is YOUR day"
Amy & Dan
Inspiration & Styling
We aren't the traditional type and wanted a fun, relaxed day. We had a DIY photo booth, magician and outdoor games which everyone loved. It was a beautiful sunny day and the venue is like an English country garden. We made and sourced rustic items and styled all of the crates and cable reels ourselves, we had homemade wooden troughs and milk churns filled with wildflowers and used pallets for our order of the day and welcome signs!Amy & Dan
Amy looked absolutely stunning in her Bianco Evento wedding dress. We love its off-the-shoulder style sweetheart neckline and flattering silhouette - it's the perfect style for your summer wedding! When searching for your perfect dress, you may be surprised what you end up loving! We suggest heading into your appointment with an open mind, this will take a little pressure off yourself and gives you a completely unblinkered outlook as to what you may be looking for. Remember, it's your day - ensure you feel totally comfortable no matter what!
What Made Our Day Unique
We did absolutely everything ourselves. It was a relaxing day without most of the traditional aspects. We made the day totally “us” with a magician and games for the children, a snack and sweet station, a huge wedding cake, and lots of cheese! We took song requests from the guests to play throughout the day.Amy & Dan
