As it’s almost Halloween, Molly & John’s slightly spooky Belair House wedding is the perfect way to get things started! Molly’s day began with the London Ghost Bus, which took her and her bridal party to the venue. Wanting a gothic yet glam look, they didn’t want to take things too far and opted for understated styling which still gives a romantic and elegant feel. We absolutely love Molly’s traditional lace wedding dress, which works perfectly alongside her matching flower girls (Wednesday Adams, eat your heart out). Recommended Supplier, Anna Ti Creates, has captured the day perfectly with her slightly moody and dark photography - we love it!
We were going for something a bit gothic but still glam. Trying to address the gothic-ness in an elegant & romantic way, without it feeling too much like Halloween or a funeral!
Molly & John
The venue was an integral part of Molly & John’s day as they did everything in one place (including the ceremony! Of course, everyone at Belair House was very relaxed and accommodating, but also super attentive on the day. Anything they needed and they were there! The overall look of the venue suited the aesthetic of the wedding so well.
Molly always wanted lace to be part of the equation! And finding white lace dresses for the flower girls was a serious win. In Molly’s words: “who ended up looking incredible, like a cross between Wednesday Adams and the twins in the shining with their hair plaited with black bows.” They also incorporated white flowers and black candles - a striking look!
We were overwhelmed when our photographs came back. Anna was a great presence on the day, she captured the story and emotion of the wedding amazingly and we’re in love with the look of the beautiful moody photographs.
Molly & John
Molly & John’s Belair House wedding is the perfect example of doing things your way! We love the subtle gothic styling that still looks super chic and romantic. Although, if you fancy a whole hoard of Halloween inspiration, we do have it… and some pumpkin decor, duh.
