When life gives you Alena Leena Bridal gowns, wear them like Aida *insert heart eyes emoji*. Their wedding car was a 1968 Fiat 500, lovingly restored. The food was prepared by the brides mother, traditional Iranian home-cooking, complete with a relaxed, carefree vibe, and a wedding cake made of doughnuts. We just love how homely yet glamorous this day feels - full of personal touches throughout! Oh, and each guest was gifted a lego keychain, complete with a figure the bride & groom thought represented them - how cute is that!? All beautifully captured by Recommended Supplier, Steph Newton Photography.
Our small number of guests with close family made the day quite intimate. The venue was a family friend's garden with hanging apple trees and sunny skies. Our wedding car is our own 1968 Fiat 500 that Philip spent 5 years restoring for this occasion.

The vibe was relaxed and carefree throughout the day. The styling was boho throughout, inspired by Aida's mood board. The Iranian influence also came into the day with the traditional bride and groom table known as 'sofreh aghd'. Also, because the venue was ours to set up and design, we were able to use the space as we saw fit and style it to our own taste and imagination.
Aida walking into the Guildhall with her father was memorable. Our first dance was quite ridiculous (in a good way). We drove with Aida out of the sunroof, rose petals being thrown by our flower girls, and Iranian music playing while proceeding to dance with all attendees getting involved. It's uniqueness was very personal.
Planning a wedding is stressful, but you will learn a lot about each other. Do not be afraid to do things yourself. Just ensure you have a clear idea and plan ahead so it is easy to get everything you need. Enjoy the ride (preferably in an old Fiat 500).
