The Wedding
Andriana the Bride: 3 words to describe our wedding: atemporal, sobery & natural.
We wanted a classic elegant décor, that was atemporal. The main colours were the green of the plants, the off-white of the candles and the neutrals of the linen fabrics.
Catering
For starters (guests were standing) next to the lake shore with live Bossanova and mojitos. Later we enjoyed a formal dinner with sober tables. Candles and plants, amazing décor by La Puta Suegra. I painted the watercolours for the menus.
Favours & Thank-you Gifts
We gave all guests a keyring and a card as a wedding favour. After the dinner, we gave cake figures we painted ourselves to 4 couples who helped us a lot and we appreciate very much. I gave my bouquet to my best friend, Ada. And for our parents we gifted them a weekend trip.
Honeymoon
We went to Indonesia for our honeymoon. Where we enjoyed bike rides, beaches, amazing jungles and animals.
How we met
We met at school aged 12 and went out with each other (can you imagine?). Then Jordi left the school, but we still saw each other around Barcelona. At 17 we started going out again and here we are 10 years later.
The Proposal
When I got my degree, Jordi prepared for a trip to Thailand for me. It was at Mae Nam beach at Koh Samui where he asked me to marry him. It was so romantic!
Photography
Sara Lobla captured every moment, the feelings, everything is so beautiful.
Dresses
Dress number one I wore for the ceremony and starters, was a
Cortana gown, which was very elegant and featured an open back.
Dress number 2 was an
Otaduy gown, It was simple yet stylish and perfect to dance all night in.
Jewellery
Iron tiara (late S.XIX century) from Berlin. Purchased at a Barcelona antique shop, Heritage. Earrings from my mother (a friend of hers found them in another antique shop).
My ring and wedding rings were from
Bvlgari.
