Getting Married in Italy
Beatrice the Photographer: When you are planning a traditional Italian wedding it is obvious to imagine ancient villa, preferably in Tuscany, surrounded by a landscape of endless green hills that blend with a blue sky, typical of the month of June or July.
For this reason, this time, Alberto & wanted to create something different from the usual Italian wedding, inspired by the colours and lights of the fall winter season, typical of the north of Italy.

Thanks to the
Pinterest boards we started to create the complete mood of this photo shoot, sharing the ideas with some creative suppliers from north Italy, that helped us to pull together everything in the coolest way.
Autumnal Wedding Decor
On a mild afternoon in mid-November, warmed by the hue of Autumn, we set up a vintage and industrial styled shoot with a natural mood. The main theme was the colours such as dark green, burgundy and gold accents with many natural elements like berries, red gerberas, white callas, pomegranates, heather, white & pink roses.
The Venue
For the occasion, we involved the best suppliers of my area, and together we created all the details for a very special location:
Fabbrica Saccardo, an industrial complex built in the late 19th century.
Today the factory is the result of a complete renovation made to enhance this valuable artefact of industrial archeology trying to preserve its historical memory. It's an industrial environment but cozy and perfectly suited for weddings and events. The terraces overlook the nearby woods; the colors were warm and harmonious, the light perfect.
The Details
Ilbiancoeilrosa, an agency of wedding planners from Lucca, have taken care of the preparation of the various spaces within the venue, decorating rooms and tables with style and elegance.
The female model was wearing a mermaid wedding dress with a short train, created by
Matelier Traforetti. The strict line of the bodice and the skirt in satin was embellished with a carrè of tulle with a delicate pattern with polka dots and a beautiful lace that frames the neck and shoulders and joins gently back valuing the wide neckline.
The bouquets and other arrangements were made by Fioreria Rosa, the wedding cake by Toratamivia and invitations, menus and placeholders were made by Mauro Mantile.
