We always love featuring shoots from the super talented combination of
Marcos Sanchez and
Best Day Ever and this one is no exception. The styling is gorgeous - copper and marble accents, plus an abundance of rich foliage, and a blush
Immaclé wedding gown is just a heavenly combination.
I love that the team chose to use a white and a black background, it's added a double dimension to the shoot, but because the flowers and styling are cohesive, the shoot still works really well as a whole. A great idea for utilising different areas of your wedding venue.
The Inspiration
The shoot was designed around two elements: marble and copper. The clean, minimal tonal palette of whites and greys of the marble are the perfect match for the metallic, orange-ish tone of the copper, adding a touch of colour. We have the marble present in the plates, the cake, the table number and the stationery, and the copper in the mugs and a few orange elements. The flowers were selected following the same idea, a white base with a few colour elements that bring harmony to the whole. And also the rose quartz dress matches the palette perfectly.
The shoot is a minimal one, separated in two parts, one with a white background, clean and light, and another part with a black background, more of a chiaroscuro inspiration, which is perfect to showcase the beauty of the flowers in a baroque way.
