Flowers
Each. And. Every. Bouquet, floral hairpiece and arrangement created by
Fallen Flower Design is just heavenly. Each bouquet loosely put together giving them that just picked organic feel and then tied with trailing ribbons and lace as the perfect finishing, romantic, touch.
Fashion & Beauty
There is no denying I love a pretty frock. And the selection of lace, chiffon, satin and sparkle strap gowns are all absolutely stunning. There are full skirts, fitted gowns and low back details to choose from, each one looking as fabulous as the next. If you're still on the hunt for your perfect bridal gown and look, you will certainly be inspired by this gorgeous selection.
Cake
Eat more cake has definitely become our mantra at RMW towers and is it any wonder when we're treated to delicious sights as these. I don't think I will ever tire of a naked cake, each one looking completely different to the next. The refined plum palette of figs and florals used to decorate this gorgeous creation by
Heart & Soul Cakes is simply stunning.
Inspiration
Victoria Taylor, Bridal & Photographic Makeup Artist, in collaboration with Kathryn Hopkins Photography and Fallen Flower Design: We knew we wanted the shoot to have an Edwardian feel, which captured the classic, timeless beauty of an English Bride. This set the tone for the soft romantic make-up and hair, and pretty lace gowns. It was also important for us to keep budget in mind. With beloved gowns, and details that can easily be obtained from antique vendors, ‘English Elegance’ shows how an aspirational and sophisticated wedding can be designed without a limitless budget. The shoot took place at
Walkers Farm, a 1600 century farm house set in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside. The house retains so many of its original features and created such a romantic setting for the shoot.
English florals in shades of blush and crimson, naturally styled, complimented the romantic styling of the brides. For the table setting, we wanted something rustic but elegant. The simplicity of the stunning semi-naked cake adorned with late summer fruits and florals, along with the antique etched glassware and gold trimmed crockery were a perfect combination of rustic elegance. The paper goods where custom made by Fallen Flower Design in a classic colour palette with a timeless calligraphy typeface, a look that can be easily be achieved by a creative bride or, for larger budgets, finished with skilled hand calligraphy and a customised monogram for a personal touch.
